Our Chester-based Karate lessons take place at two different locations.
Our sessions are held at the King’s School Chester, on the Wrexham Road in Chester on a Wednesday evening with the kids’ session starting at 6pm with the 7pm start time for older children and adults.
And Friday session also at the King’s School Chester, 6pm to 7pm for 5yrs to adult, family night.
Saturday is held at Upton Village Hall, Heath Rd, Upton, Chester and it is a morning class starting at 10am for younger children and 11am for adults and older children from the age of 11.
Our karate classes are enjoyable and great fun for both children and adults. This is combined with the personal discipline and respectfulness that is the cornerstone of Karate.
The speed of progress of students at the club is ultimately down to them, but we encourage and support as much as needed in this regard.
The team of instructors is led by Steve Bolland who has a many years of experience running a Karate club and is highly qualified in the style of Karate that we practice which is Shito-ryu. This is one of the four major styles of Karate practiced around the world. All of our instructors are Enhanced DBS checked and can train from beginner level to Blackbelt.
As a club, we are affiliated to the English Karate Federation, which is the national organisation that governs English Karate. We are also affiliated to the Shito- Kai and World Shito-ryu Karate- do Federation.
